My name is Tommy Fransgaard. I was born in 1977 and have lived various places in Denmark, depending on my studies and jobs. Currently I’m residing in Aalborg and work for Brønderslev Municipality where I manage the construction legislation and condemn buildings when they are hazardous to health.
I am also part of the municipality's conservation committee, where we try to ensure that the more architectural buildings are not lost or spoiled.
Previously I was trained as a carpenter and worked as such for a few year. Later I took a bachelor degree as constructing architect, after which I worked for Aarhus Municipality. For a period I decided to try something different and went for a computer science education, but as interesting this was, I turned back to my previous occupation at Aarhus Municipality after a about a year's education.
When I’m not studying or working I usually spend my time reading, walking in the nature, the cinema, miniature painting, playing strategic and role-playing games either with friends or on the computer. Though there is a lot to do out there, I do spend a big part of my spare time with my fiancé, whom I have had since the year 2000.
My miniature painting can be found on my hobby blog at zroll.wordpress.com
